Mixed media, 36”x36” on stretched canvas with a black wooden floater frame.
Inspired by the charming streets of Barcelona, particularly the historic Gothic Quarter, “Whisper Behind The Catalan Doors” captures the timeless beauty of the city’s weathered wooden doors, with their rich, rustic shades of brown and golden patina. The cool blue tones throughout the painting celebrate Barcelona’s coastal spirit and mediterranean charm.
Influenced by the expressive style of Spanish artist Joan Miro, bold, thick black lines add a striking graphic element, creating a beautiful contrast against the richly layered colors and dimensional textures.
This contemporary piece brings a touch of Barcelona’s artistic soul into your space. Perfect for an office, entryway, or any room in your home that deserves a bold focal point.
